First Draft Theater is the online rehearsal space for a semi-retired influencer and wannabe historian.

It’s where once-and-future-author Jackson Bird flings words on the screen to see what sticks. It’s a newsletter that explores unexpected connections, overlooked stories, and the past and future of our changing world. Some of it may one day become a second draft.

First Draft Theater is also a centralized location for friends and followers to keep up with Jackson Bird’s myriad projects.
